Innovation Design On Riverfront Landscape

Most people always love water.So rivers are important to cities.The riverside landscape which built based on rivers has become a city to stimulate the vitality of the city,highlight the city's most attractive urban public space.The development of riverside space increasing rapidly,but it also shows some design issues,such as similar works,unconspicuous regional characteristics,unattractive and low-usage facilities.Because the demand of people living space and the requirements of aesthetic,the transformation of design become an urgent need to research.Jia Lu River is an important river in Zhengzhou,it carrying the culture and spirit of Zhengzhou and it also is the public activities space for citizens.However,it is still has some problems on function,design of facilities and visual art.The riverside landscape lack of attractive to people,so it's necessary to redesign the landscape of Jia Lu River.The article use of literature research,case study,summarized,comparative analysis and other methods,shows the background,purpose and significance of the riverside landscape design.Analyzes the development trend of the riverside landscape design.Then clarifies the contents,methods and techniques of the landscape design.The article based on the redesign of Jia Lu River,analyzes the external environment of city,such as urban scale and site scale.The inner environment analysis the topography,road traffic and plant landscape,the advantages and disadvantages of the site analysis.Based on abovementioned analysis,the article put forward the idea “natural flow,Imagine Zhengzhou,eternal green,embrace Jialu”.With the idea the redesign of Jia Lu riverside landscape divide into 6 parts,which including entrance area,culture exhibit area,recreation area,organic area,plantation and science education area.In other hand,article also redesign the traffic of the riverside,plantation facilities.Innovation design based on the function of the site and the detail of the environment.The article has 4 chapters.Chapter One introduce the research background,purpose and significance.Chapter Two sum up the background of Jia Lu River and Zhengzhou City,analyzes the present situation,the overall layout,vertical design,etc.Chapter Three is thedesign of riverside,including the functional areas and the public facilities,guided system and other special design.Chapter Four of the summary text,draw conclusions,and make a prospect for the design of the riverbank landscape.
