The water area of China is vast and extensive.Water disaster and drowning event occur sometimes.Because the rescue environment is complex and changeable,in particular,under the harsh environment of large storm sea,flood,turbulent River and so on,the traditional water lifesaving equipment reflects the efficiency and low success rate.In order to solve a series of problems encountered in the process of water rescue,this study developed a small and convenient water lifesaving device.The rescuers with no need for entering the water.They only need to throw the lifesaving device from the shore,sheep or plane,and to handle the lifesaving device by remote control.Rescuers can catch safety handrail of the flank,entering the place of victim,and then control its moving to the safe place.That's can not only reduce the difficulty of rescue,but also ensure the safety of rescuers.In this paper,the research status of the remote control,ejection,UAV type of water saving device at home and abroad is fully investigated,and the three propulsion methods of propeller type,water jet and magnetic fluid are compared and analyzed.Finally,the water jet propeller is selected as the dynamic propulsion system of the lifesaving device.A set of overall design plan has been worked out,and the overall structure of life-saving device has been explained.Three models were designed by using Solid works 3D modeling software in this study.And a high safety modeling scheme was selected according to safety stability and resistance characteristics.The lifesaving device adopts the way of water jet propulsion.In addition,the basic structure,advantages and disadvantages of the waterjet thruster are introduced and explained in detail.On the basis of fluid mechanics,the study has constructed a mathematical model of water jet propeller.After analyzing the influence factors of thrust,the function of thrust and reversing of water jet thruster is calculated,and the theoretical analysis of the steering system of the whole device is carried out.As the life-saving device adopts a single water jet thruster,it introduces the translation mode of double water jet thruster.After the overall scheme is completed,the study determined the type of water-jet and motor by studying the resistance characteristics of the lifesaving device and estimating the total resistance which with the check up method.And then,the Maxsurf modeler Advanced module of Surfmax software is used to model,importing Maxsurf modeler Advanced stability analysis module to analyze the automatic rotation and centralizability of the lifesaving device under different load and different wind and wave grades.The study built a remote control system based on STC12C5A60S2 microcontroller.And the hardware circuit design and software system design are explained in detail.Finally,according to the proportion of 1:4,the study buily a small prototype which runs well during prototype test and basically meets the requirements.
