Rocker panel is the key structural part to the auto body,the safety of which is related to the vehicle side collision and the driver’s protection.In the past,the low strength steel was used to form by stamping,while the steel plate must be thicker to ensure the safety.As a rule,it will be heavier.The using of ultra-high steel will reduce the weight of rocker panel greatly on the Lightweight trend.The traditional cold-stamping cannot be used on the higher strength steel because of the lower elongation.Roll forming is a effective way to solve the high strength steel processing technology by configuring multiple passes of rolls to transversely bend the plate to form a specific shape section.This paper is aimed at the design and research of the automatic forming of roll –stamping forming for automobile doorsill products.The main contents include:(1)According to the threshold of product structure,develop "preprocessing-roll forming-postprocessing",which includes preprocessing of " steel strip opening-feeding and welding-stamping",postprocessing of " stamping-cut-stacking".(2)For the processing requirements before roll-forming,the design of steel strip opening、feeding、welding and stamping is carried out.(3)According to the roller forming theory,the deformation process of the bending of the steel plate is analyzed.The force analysis is carried out,and the molding force and the forming torque are calculated.The main influencing factors of the forming torque are analyzed,and the best bending angle and forming times are determined.(4)The process and structure of the roll forming device body are optimized.The stress and strain analysis of the optimized roll forming device body is analyzed with CAE.(5)The flexible device is designed in the roll forming part and the post forming part to meet the compatibility and fast-change requirements.(6)The double mould is designed for the same production line for the post-processing process of stamping.When the steel strip is not cut off,the replacement of the stamping mould between the left and right is realized.Complete the length of cutting and automatic stacking equipment design.The results of this paper provide a powerful guide for the equipment of the automobile threshold.The equipment finally reaches the industrial level of high efficiency,precision and high automation.
