The thermal power plant boiler is working under high temperature and high pressure conditions.Therefore,the high quality control of the main steam temperature is very important for the safe and economical operation of thermal power units.The main steam temperature and boiler fuel regulation objects of thermal power plants are all complex objects with great inertia and large delay.Due to their own limitations,the traditional PID control system shows some defects when applied to the main steam temperature control system,The search for more excellent control methods has always been the focus and difficulty in this field.Dynamic matrix control DMC can directly deal with the object with a pure hysteresis,strong adaptability to large inertia,good tracking performance and strong stability and robustness,because of its characteristics,so that it When applied to main steam temperature control of thermal power plant,it can achieve better control effect than PID control system.In this paper,the conditions of the main steam temperature control system of thermal power station are expounded first,and the specific work and requirements to be completed by the control system are analyzed.Then the DMC algorithm of dynamic matrix control is introduced in detail.From its IMC structure,its stability and robustness are analyzed.After that,the influence of control matrix and optimization time domain on the control effect is analyzed.Through the simulation of PID controller and DMC controller,it is found that DMC shows better stability than PID controller Robustness enables high-quality control of the main steam temperature system of thermal power plants.Finally,according to the specific situation of a 300 MW thermal power plant in China,this paper introduces the DMC application method and its application in practice,and makes theoretical verification for the dynamic matrix control of DMC in a wide range of thermal power plants.
