Research On 500kV Langfang South Smart Substation Design Program

Smart substations are important foundations for smart grids in the future.The development of smart substation technologies plays a decisive role in smart grids.The basic characteristics of a smart substation are the digitization of the entire station information,the networking of the platform,and the standardization of information sharing.The smart substation can automatically complete the collection,control,protection,calculation,and monitoring of grid information,which can realize the controlling,smart regulation,online analysis and decision-making to power grid.Besides,the smart substation can realize the interaction and coordination with the neighboring substations and grid dispatching departments through the advanced and reliable smart devices configured in smart substations.This article studies the construction of a 500 kV smart substation in Langfang South Grid.The main tasks are as follows:(1)The main characteristics of traditional substations,digital substations and smart substations are analyzed,and the main technical framework of smart substations is analyzed.The overall plan for the construction of Langfang South 500 kV substation is designed.(2)The electrical part of the 500 kV smart substation in Langfang South Grid was designed,including 500kV/220kV/66 kV main electrical wiring,selection basis for main electrical equipment,direct lightning protection and grounding engineering construction,station power usage,and cable construction projects.(3)The second part of the electric substation of Langfang South 500 kV smart substation is designed,including the substation relay protection and safety automatic device,substation scheduling automation master station system,system communication and station communication design,substation automation system engineering,and DC system design.(4)Based on the site and hydro-meteorological conditions of the Langfang South 500 kV smart substation,the general layout of the station area,roads,cable trenches and firewall construction were designed.
