| The Xin Jiang region is vast and displays complex geological conditions,along with an increase in local highway construction projects.However,the problem of inadequate construction of highway foundations is also on the increase,as the quality requirements of highway subgrade become more stringent.The presence of bad foundations for bridge construction has an impact on project progress and quality.Therefore,the management of poor highway foundations would shorten the construction period,lower the project costs and improve engineering quality.It is crucial to identify a reasonable and effective treatment plan suited to the actual conditions of project construction.This article reviews a period of poor foundations in the Khartoum highway project,followed by an analysis of the geological conditions of the product,and systematic research of all aspects of the work.The main conclusions are the following:(1)On the basis of geological exploration and field investigation,soil samples are taken to carry out the basic geotechnical tests,and the soil characteristics and formation are analysed.The results showed that the subsoil is mainly divided into soft soil and a seismic liquefaction section.The soft soil is predominantly by loose silty sand and the soil layer is soft due to long-term immersion,with a high natural moisture content.In the seismic liquefaction zone,the frequency of earthquakes is higher and liquefaction is easily carried out,but this is not suitable for the direct construction of the roadbed.(2)The characteristics,scope,application,and strengthening mechanism of different soft soil foundation treatment methods in common use at home and abroad were analysed.Through studying the project requirements for poor foundation soil and treatment schemes,the application of the fuzzy clustering analysis method is used to select the treatment plan on the basis of multiple factors such as technology,economy,and time constraints.Finally,applying optimisation to the actual construction environment,it is determined that the soft soil segment is suited to the change method,while the seismic liquefaction belt is suited to the dynamic compaction method.The seismic liquefaction belt is surrounded by the main structure such as culverts,channels,and the principal central arch,as well as other important structures such as the gravel pile method.(3)According to the actual project characteristics,the concrete design scheme of the three kinds of treatment,the common quality problems in the construction process and the,construction technology,the construction process and construction measures such as key technologies all enable the proposal for corresponding control measures and solutions so as to ensure engineering quality.(4)According to the requirements of the design and related specifications,quality testing and evaluation of the foundation is carried out after the application of various treatment measures.At the same time,according to the development of the subsidence curve of typical sections,the final settlement volume of the section is predicted through the use of a grey model.The results from this analysis show that the scheme design and layout are reasonable,and that the foundation of all the indexes after treatment can meet the design requirements,effectively reducing the deformation of the subgrade and satisfying the follow-up construction requirements.The comprehensive effect of this treatment is remarkable. |
