Cross-linked Polyethylene(XLPE)cable for its good electrical insulating performance and mechanical performance instead of the other cable and become domestic new choice.In recent years,the state grid corporation to vigorously develop the nationa l urban distribution network,a large number of underground power cables instead of overhead transmission line became the main force of urban power distribution network.But in the long run,in the process of power cable and its accessories by electrical,thermal and mechanical stress and environment factors of combination and ageing,appear gradually in the running state of degradation,and become the safe hidden trouble that affect the reliability of power supply.To ensure the reliability of power supply,the insulation state of the cable must be evaluated first.Research based on the technology of pulse current and oscillation wave field detection technology,the actual status of the cable joint cable joint defects can be accurately and timely,accordingly before failure treatment,so as to avoid failure and the emergence of the phenomenon such as the blackout,can effectively improve the safety and reliability of the cable line.Partial discharge measurement is an important means to enhance the reliability of power system,power supply,it is not only suitable for detection of large power equipment insulation condition,is also a XLPE cable insulation diagnosis technology is an important part of,is a kind of online detection method.Partial discharge detection for XLPE cables have great significance in research and application prospectThe paper mainly argued the partial discharge detection method of XLPE cable accessories,and adopts the pulse current method and Oscillating waveform test system(OWTS)method.The main work of the study includes the following aspects:1.The fault statistics cable line in sichuan region,analysis of the development of cable fault rule;2.The propagation characteristics of pulse signal in XLPE cable are studied;3.Partial discharge detection of XLPE cable,including defective and non-defective cable,study the development law of the bureau,and explore the characteristics of the cable under different typical insulation defects;4.To explore the effect of temperature on the local discharge of the cable joints;5.Discharge test technology based on OWTS,the partial discharge of cable joint field application of experimental research.
