Piezoelectric material is an important class of electronic materials. It is a class of functional materials that realize the conversion between mechanical energy and electrical energy and thus are popularly utilized to fabricate sensors, actuators, transducers and other electronic devices.Currently, due to Pb(Zr,Ti)O3(PZT)piezoelectric ceramics' excellent electrical properties,it dominates the actual market of piezoelectric material. However, due to the toxicity of lead oxide that is extensive used during the manufacturing process,PZT needs to be replaced by environmentally friendly lead-free alternatives. In this paper,BaTiO3 ceramics were prepared by solid phase reaction method. The influence of defect dipole on size effect and temperature stability of BaTiO3 ceramic was studied systematically.Firstly,it has studied the direct/converse piezoelectric grain-size effect of the different Ba/Ti ratio of BaTiO3-based ceramics, and it has systematic studied the physical mechanism of the direct/converse piezoelectric grain-size effect connecting with the domain structure, defects and saturated polarization.Secondly, the influence of Cu O and Mn O on the piezoelectric grain-size effect and electric domain structure of BaTiO3 ceramic was compared. Finally, the Na2CO3 and Al2O3 were doped in BaTiO3 ceramic to explore the defects of BaTiO3 ceramic engineering, and it is systematical discussed piezoelectric properties, dielectric properties and the temperature stability with the Na+-Al3+ dipole defects of BaTiO3 ceramic...
