With the continuous development of China's railway vehicle,the fatigue problem of the vehicles is increasingly highlighted.The study of the fatigue life of bogie frame,wheels,axles and bolt fasteners which as the key components of railway vehicles is very important.This paper based on fatigue life of key components of railway vehicle as research objects,with related fatigue assessment methods and evaluating standards as basis,through the C++and the secondary development of ANSYS and ABAQUS,implement the programmed computation on fatigue life of key components of each software modules,in order to improve the working efficiency of engineering personnels.The software is divided into four modules,which are bogie frame fatigue calculating module,wheel fatigue calculating module,axle fatigue calculating module,bolt fastener fatigue calculating module.The bogie frame fatigue calculating module is based on the Goodman-Smith method.The wheel fatigue calculating module is based on Haigh-Goodman method and Crossland criterion.The axle fatigue calculating module is based on the standards of TB 2395-2008 and TB 2705-2010.The bolt fastener fatigue calculating module is based on the VDI 2230-2003 standard.With the application of this software,use the bogie frame fatigue calculating module to calculate the fatigue strength of a bogie frame;use the wheel fatigue calculating module to calculate the fatigue strength of five wheels which are different types;use the axle fatigue calculating module to calculate the fatigue strength of a export railway vehicle axle;use the bolt fastener fatigue calculating module to calculate the typical case of VDI standard.By contrast,we can find that the calculate results of the software and the calculate results of other methods or typical examples are basically identical,which shows that the software is convenient to calculate accurate and simple to operate at the same time.
