The main shaft bearing of wind turbine is to absorb most of the load that is not conducive to gearbox and generator,and transfer useful torque and power to the high-speed shaft of wind turbine.Therefore,the bearing is one of the highest failure rate parts during the operation of the wind turbine.As the standard of bearing selection is not uniform,at present,there is no systematic selection and design method for the’ main bearing of the wind turbine in our country.Therefore,in order to strengthen the capacity of design and manufacturing and adapt to the research and development of large new units,In this paper,the design method of the type selection of the main bearing of the wind turbine is studied as follows:(1)Several major wind power standards and bearing standards are comprehensively collated and analyzed.The calculation methods of static load,dynamic load,life expectancy and contact stress for main shaft bearings of wind turbine generators are summarized.provide a theoretical basis for research for doubly fed wind turbine main shaft bearing design method.(2)Through the calculation and analysis of the main shaft load of wind turbine with different supports,the main shaft support scheme is selected and the calculation method of the main drive chain structure size is proposed.Through the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of different spindle bearing configuration schemes,the selection and configuration scheme of the main shaft bearing of the wind turbine is determined.According to the regulations of GL2010 and IEC61400 wind power standard,the method of checking the design of wind turbine main shaft bearings is regulated,and the calculation method and range of the fatigue load,static safety factor,bearing life and lubrication of the wind turbine main shaft bearings are described.At the same time,the finite element analysis software is used to simulate the bearing condition of spindle bearing in actual operation,and the contact stress between roller bearing raceway of spindle bearing is checked.In addition,the selection and design method of this research is applied to select and design the main bearing of a doubly fed wind turbine,and the rationality and applicability of the research are verified by comparison with wind power standards.
