| The high pier bridge is widely applied in high-intensity earthquake area of Western China,but it is an unfavorable aseismic structure.A kind of self-centering and isolated high pier structure is proposed by the research group,which is separated by pier and foundation at the platform and fully utilized vertical load of dead load to balance horizontal load to meet normal use.The conclusion has not been verified by the shaking table test.In this paper,a scale model of self-centering bridge is designed and built,and the shaking table model test is carried out.The dynamic characteristics of self-centering pier and the dynamic response of the pier under the action of earthquake are studied.The important data such as the displacement of the pier top,the acceleration of the pier top and the bending moment of the bottom of the pier are recorded.The effects of seismic wave type,peak acceleration,pre-stressed reinforcement and initial pre-applied force on the self-centering pier are investigated,and the response law of the pier under the action of earthquake is also discussed.The experimental results show that the expected lifting and rocking phenomenon of the self-centering pier has occurred under the strong earthquake,and there is a slight damage to the bottom of the pier.The pier has no cracks,and the structure has good seismic and self-centering performance.The shaking table test data can be used for checking or correcting numerical models.In order to simulate the shaking table model more effectively,the paper also carried out the model material test,and obtained the basic mechanical properties of the concrete and the pre-stressed reinforcement.Based on the OpenSees platform,a numerical analysis model is established.Through the comparison of the numerical calculation and the shaking table test,it is found that the two results are in good agreement,and the validity of the existing numerical analysis model is verified.Meanwhile,it is also found that the collision effect has an important influence on the seismic response of self-centering pier,and the collision model of self-centering pier should be further studied.The research results of shaking table test and numerical simulation provide important support for the design calculation and engineering application of self-centering pier.The study is of great significance for improving the seismic design level of bridge engineering in China. |
