Abstract/Summary:
In today’s society,the Internet of Things is booming,and as a branch of the Internet of Things,the VANET has developed rapidly in recent years.On this basis,a lot of great applications have been born,such as path planning,group communication,and more exciting applications are under research.At the same time,VANETS also brings many opportunities and challenges to other industries.For example,the world’s big companies are currently researching autopilot.The development of VANETS will inevitably improve the safety and efficiency of autopilot from another perspective.In the VANETS,the most basic and important thing is communication.In addition to ensuring its accuracy and reliability,the communication itself should also pay attention to the privacy of communications.Otherwise,the exposure of privacy will lead to a series of consequences.Internet Key Exchange(IKE)is currently a popular communication encryption technology.It requires a stable session process,but when it is used in VANETS,this stable session process is difficult due to the highly dynamic nature of VANET.So it is not suitable to apply to VANET.In addition,there are many existing communication encryption technologies,but they are all solutions to the traditional network,which is not very suitable for the newly emerging communication environment of the VANETS.For this reason,we propose a new method based on social network-based secure broadcast(SNB-PPB)to implement secure vehicle communication,which can skip the key exchange process and can be more adapted to the communication environment of VANETS.It applies information from online social networks to vehicle communications.According to the importance of the messages,the messages are divided into different levels of privacy.We also propose a trust assessment model that uses social networks to divide the vehicles around the host vehicle into different trustworthiness levels.The sender uses the privacy level of attributes and information on the social network to encrypt the message,and only those recipients that satisfy the corresponding trust level can decrypt the broadcast packet.In order to further adapt to different environments,we have also specifically classified the methods into centralized and distributed ones based on the decryption strategy.This is the first time that social networks have been used in VANET to achieve secure vehicle communication and privacy protection.We did different experiments to verify the effect of various parameters on the experimental results,and proved that our method is available.Then according to the existing convincing standards to further analyze the proposed method,the results prove the safety of the method.Finally,in order to improve the performance of the method,we provide some formulas to quantify the security and privacy,and put forward the concept of comprehensive benefits,these formulas will guide the specific parameters of the setting method.
