Sensitive High Resolution Ion Micro Probe(SHRIMP)can perform in-situ composition analysis and isotope near-surface analysis of micro-zones in complex solid materials.It is widely used in paleontology,geology,environment,metallurgy,oil,nuclear energy and other fields.At present,the SHRIMP instrument training mode in most universities and key laboratories is based on on-site training.However,SHRIMP instruments are expensive,short for resources,and have a large amount of testing requirements.It is difficult to meet scientific research needs,affecting the popularity of the instrument’s usage and methods.Therefore,it is necessary to use SHRIMP as a prototype to develop a network virtual laboratory,providing a new learning method to reduce training time on the machine,and lay the foundation for users to actually use the instrument.Using the Yii framework,PHP+MySQL+Apache technology,combined with Pjax,jQuery,regular expression,database technology and other technologies,the virtual laboratory for SHRIMP based on the B/S application network model was developed.The SHRIMP Network Virtual Laboratory is modeled on the SHRIMP Ⅱ Sensitive High Resolution Ion Micro Probe from the Australian Scientific Instruments Corporation.For the use of the instrument(SHRIMP U-Pb dating process),a virtual experiment platform was designed during analysis.The designed virtual experiment platform includes three parts of analysis condition setting,sample selection and analysis process,which together simulate the real experimental process of the instrument.Analytical condition setting simulates the settings of the conditions and parameters during the actual experiment.The sample image display simulates the process of selecting the analysis position by observing the sample image and moving the sample stage.The analysis process simulates the actual experimental process of the instrument.The elements are designed such as buttons,activity switches,slide bars,drop-down menus,pop-up windows,and input boxes to simulate the experiment interface and experiment process.In order to guide the user to learn the instrument experiment procedure,the virtual lab also provides interactive operation navigation.In addition,the virtual laboratory’s website management has been developed to implement data management,user management,and related links.The SHRIMP network virtual laboratory was simulated to allow users to understand the basic experimental operation of the instrument online by the above-mentioned functions.This text has carried on safety test to WEB server and SHRIMP network virtual laboratory,each index accords with the anticipated design.The installation and commissioning of the Beijing SHRIMP Center were completed.The application of the test training has been started.The operation is in good condition and the results are good.
