| After the reform and opening up,a large number of people migrated to cities, and urban land continued to expand into suburbs. The form of living in cities shifted to a high-density intensive form, and the process of urbanization continued to intensify. However,in the process of rapid urbanization, people’s neglect of the natural ecosystem led to a series of ecological problems. The urban water problem is one of the most prominent ones.In the process of rapid urbanization, due to the increase of water imperviousness rate of the city’s underlying surface, the unpleasant discharge of industrial sewage, overexploitation of groundwater resources, and the aging of urban grey infrastructure that is dominated by traditional concepts, the urban water circulation system was serious damage, various types of "urban diseases" occur frequently. On the one hand, the city cannot cope with the floods caused by heavy rain, and on the other hand,it faces the problem of water shortage. In this context, the "sponge city" concept that helped improve the urban water environment and solve urban water problems came into being. The urban park is an important green ecosystem in urban built-up areas, and it has the potential to manage rainwater. However, urban parks built under traditional concepts have little consideration for rainwater resources. This paper takes the Hainan Provincial City Park as the research object, explores reasonable planning and design methods, considers the combination of the urban park landscape and the stormwater management facilities,so that the urban park can fully exert its function of regulating and accumulating rainwater, which will help build the sponge city in China. This article consists of six chapters and is divided into three parts:The first part:Based on the analysis of related theories and practices at home and abroad, issued questionnaires to understand the urban residents’ understanding of the requirements and intentions of urban parks to collect and utilize rainwater. At the same time,we investigated the urban parks constructed under many traditional concepts in Hainan Province, analyzed its deficiencies in the use of rainwater. The second part:The author conducted surveys on the new construction and renovation projects of several sponge-type urban parks in Haikou and Sanya.Summarized the principles of site selection based on the "sponge" park in three aspects:space, rainwater treatment and ecology.Inductive the strategy contains rainwater treatment as the main purpose, protecting the river water system and mangrove resources as the precondition, public education as the guide and shaping tropical features as the key point. Finally, evaluate the current status of the stormwater management facilities used in the vegetation characteristics, engineering characteristics, overall attractiveness, and interpretation signs. The planning and design of sponge parks in Hainan Province provide a certain reference. The third part:Firstly, analyzes the feasibility and necessity of constructing sponge-type urban parks in Hainan Province.Secondly, based on the problems found during the investigation and corresponding strategies. Then, combined with the special features of climate and topography, regional culture, and suitable plants in Hainan Province.Summarize the design principles and procedures for sponge-type urban parks in Hainan Province. Finally, the paper puts forward the optimization strategies of the landscape elements of the park and the combination of rainwater and flood management measures, and finally selects appropriate plant types for the stormwater management facilities. |
