In the urban road,the traffic safety accidents in the road intersection occupy a large proportion because of the quantity and complexity of the road intersection.The research on traffic safety in the field of road intersection is important and difficult.And the intelligent connected vehicle is one of the effective ways to solve the traffic safety problem.V2 X technology is a key technology of intelligent connected vehicle.It has important research significance and practical value.This paper studies the intelligent traffic V2 X system and the traffic application algorithm based on V2 X technology as the map matching algorithm and the vehicle-vehicle collision avoidance warning algorithm in road intersection.The main research work and results are as follows:(1)The intelligent transport V2 X system is studied.The system structure and the three major components of V2 X system are analyzed emphatically.The key technologies involved in roadside system,on-board system and data management system are analyzed.(2)A map matching algorithm based on V2 I is proposed.According to the characteristics of local road network.The rule of road network division is determined.Traffic data collection,analysis and encapsulation are carried out.The data reception rule and candidate link number of the candidate link set are studied.The method of obtaining the candidate link set is studied and the application of the weight method or the D-S evidence theory in the matching section calculation is analyzed.A map matching test program is written with Java and the test results confirm that the algorithm has higher matching accuracy.And it improve the time efficiency compared with the traditional map matching algorithm.(3)A vehicle-vehicle collision avoidance warning algorithm in road intersection based on V2 X is proposed.The traffic conflict problem and the method of traffic data acquisition are analyzed.By screening vehicles,determining vehicle routing,establishing vehicle trajectory model and analyzing conflict areas,an improved algorithm for conflict detection based on time difference is proposed.Based on real-time vehicle positioning technique,a vehicle-vehicle collision detection calculation is proposed.According to the traffic priority of road intersection,and the strategy of collision avoidance warning information release is formulated.(4)The simulation experiment scheme is designed according to the real vehicle test scheme.The simulator program is written in Python.The conflict detection algorithm which only considers the arrival time difference in the present study and the conflict detection algorithm which both considers the time difference of the arrival time and the time difference between the front car leaving and the rear vehicle arriving at the conflict area are applied to analyze the effectiveness of simulation experiments.Simulation experiments show that the improved algorithm can basically avoid the occurrence of missing report,and has a great improvement in prediction accuracy.
