The detection of target in different environments is a hot topic,the fundamental principle of target detection is based on the different physical characteristics between the target and the ground environment.This paper mainly studies on the characteristic contrast of thermal radiation and visible light reflection for the tank target and the ground background under different typical environments,the difficulty of tank detection can be shown by the contrast value,the difference between the two types of characteristic contrast has important value on choosing detection methods of tank targets.In this paper,dry soil,cement concrete pavement and asphalt pavement are chosen as ground environment in radiative characteristics study,meanwhile,typical soil and desert are chosen as ground environment in reflective characteristics study.take the tank baffle as target,study the influence caused by the external factors such as time,atmospheric transparency,relative humidity and air temperature on the radiant energy on the tank baffle and ground,using Matlab to set up a GUI for radiative calculation,then according to the law of energy conservation,establish the function of temperature filed for the tank baffle and the ground,bring this function to Ansys to solve the surface temperature of the tank baffle and ground,finally,using the radiative theory and energy propagation law to get the radiative energy and contrast from the tank baffle and the ground on the detector.In the same external condition,studying the energy and incident angle of visble rays on the tank baffle and ground which influenced by time and atmospheric transparency,using the BRDF to the calculate the reflective energy in the direction of detector,according to the energy propagation law to get the reflective energy from the tank baffle and the ground on the detector.The results show that in the morning,the radiative characteristic contrast value of target and background increases as time goes on,the reflective characteristic contrast value of target and background has no obvious relation about time.
