The composite stainless steel tube concrete is developed on the basis of the composite ordinary steel tube concrete foundation.This new composite structure not only has the advantages of composite ordinary steel tube concrete,such as good plasticity and toughness,high bearing capacity,light weight,convenient construction and so on,but also because the outer steel pipe is stainless steel material,so it also has beautiful appearance.With the advantages of good durability and corrosion resistance,it has a good application prospect in marine platform and cross sea bridge structure and urban landmark building with high corrosion resistance.In this paper,experiments and finite element analysis are used to study the seismic performance of the composite stainless steel tube concrete column under pseudo static action,and the failure process,failure mode,failure mechanism and parameter analysis are studied in detail.The following research work is carried out in this paper.(1)completion of 8 circular components(including 6 circular composite stainless steel tube concrete,2 hollow sandwich stainless steel tube concrete)and 8 square components(including 6 square composite stainless steel tube concrete,1 hollow sandwich stainless steel tube concrete and 1 stainless steel pipe concrete)under reciprocating loading.The parameters of test change are:axial compression ratio and inner and outer pipe size ratio.The whole process state,final failure mode,lateral load displacement hysteretic curve,skeleton line,stiffness degradation,ductility,energy dissipation capacity,deformation,strain,bending moment curvature relationship of the composite stainless steel pipe concrete column under reciprocating load are studied.The influence laws of different parameters are investigated and the different section types are compared.The performance of the column.(2)The finite element analysis model of the composite stainless steel pipe concrete colunimn under monotonic and reciprocating loading is established by using the ABAQUS finite element software.The finite element calculation results are in good agreement with the experimental results,and the applicability of the finite element model is verified.(3)the finite element analysis model was used to analyze the working mechanism of the composite stainless steel tube concrete column under the axial and lateral loads,and the stress state of the outer stainless steel tube,the inner steel tube,the sandwich concrete and the core concrete was investigated.(4)the yield strength of the steel pipe,the yield strength of inner tube,the compressive strength of sandwich concrete,the compressive strength of inner concrete,the size ratio of inner and outer tubes,the thickness ratio of outer pipe diameter(width to thickness ratio),the thickness ratio of inner pipe diameter,the axial compression ratio and the length ratio are the changes of the lateral load lateral displacement of the composite stainless steel tube concrete column.The influence rule of skeleton line is compared,and the difference of performance between composite stainless steel pipe concrete column and composite ordinary concrete filled steel tubular column is compared.On the basis of parameter analysis,a simplified calculation method for lateral load displacement skeleton of composite stainless steel tube concrete structure is put forward.
