With the development of society,people's demand for cars is increasing day by day,and the comfort and safety of cars are becoming more and more important.As the main part of engine crank rod system,the working ring is extremely harsh,it must withstand high temperature and high pressure,as well as withstand various complicated and periodically changing impacts and loads,the failure of it not only can cause damage to other parts of the engine,and it also create a huge potential safety hazard.Nowadays,the product structure is more and more complex and the precision requirements are getting higher and higher.The traditional theoretical analysis methods can no longer meet the requirements,but the finite element analysis,optimization analysis,and dynamic analysis generated with the development of software technology provide a very effective method for solving the problems encountered in various aspects of the current engineering.In this paper,taking the crank connecting rod mechanism of an in-line four-cylinder engine as an example,combined with the engine design manual,the kinematics of the engine crank connecting rod mechanism is analyzed,and the main force of the connecting rod during the movement process is analyzed;According to the actual size parameters of an engine,the establishment of the solid model was carried out in CATIA,and the assembly of each entity was completed.;Assembling complete entity model through data interface into the ADAMS software,after adding certain constraints,the simulation analysis of the crank connecting rod mechanism has obtained the corresponding motion curve of each component;In the software of ANSYS,static analysis and modal analysis are performed,and the stress and strain cloud diagrams under the two maximum limit states of tension and compression are obtained,and the 8th to 13th order of the frequency and mode shape of the free mode of the connecting rods are obtained.Combining with the results of the static analysis,the connecting rod in the optimized module of ANSYS is used;To optimize the structure,the connecting rod's quality is minimized under the premise of ensuring the strength of the connecting rod.After optimization,not only the mass of the connecting rod is reduced,but also the maximum stress and strain of the connecting rod in the extreme motion state are also reduced.The full text provides a certain reference for the overall analysis of the crank linkage mechanism of the engine,and also has a certain role in promoting the improvement of engine performance.
