Large diesel generators have quick starting performance,simple operation,convenient maintenance,less investment,and strong adaptability to the environment.New energy power generation is sustainable and pollution-free,but existing insufficients such as randomness at present too,electrical power system need diesel generator to match the power output.Low-speed diesel generators are two-stroke generator with long service life,convenient maintenance and shipment,but fuel consumption is much and volume is huge.There is possibility of improvement to the large diesel generator's electromagnetic property still,with very few related papers and research.The 23 MW low-speed diesel generator is the first Chinese generator setting research and development and exporting to Africa,and be the model to analyze the electromagnetic property of the large diesel generators in paper.The two-dimensional transient field model based on the basic performance parameters form 23 MW low-speed diesel generator be established can analysis no-load characteristic,generator loss,etc.No-load characteristics mainly studies the change of magnetic field and no-load potential in different exciting current flow.Generator loss calculation mainly includes no-load loss and additional loss in stator and rotor,and analyze the distribution of the stator iron loss and damping loss using finite element under the working condition.Finally,paper will summarize the efficiency of generator,operation stability,optimizing generator and verifying the correctness of basic data by means of contrasting the electromagnetic property in conjunction with the different slots.The calculation of additional losses mainly includes the eddy loss and circulating current loss.The leakage magnetic field forms eddy loss through the stator winding,can be calculated according to the additional iron loss if servo motor capacitance is not huge.Circulation loss is because of circulating current form the stator bar line voltage imbalance in a circulating loop.This article uses the Simulink module to calculate circulation loss,and study the consumption method and improvement.This paper aimed at the rotor poles optimization according to the properties of low speed generator model,analyze the electromagnetic property of optimized generator using the finite element,comparing the data of three structure design scheme to obtain the final optimization results.
