Parametric Vehicle Design Exploration Based On Architectural Concept

The traditional automobile industry is in the air of The Times and is about to face great changes.The two major drivers are the electrification and the coming era of autonomous driving.It is estimated that by 2040,China will completely eliminate gasoline vehicles,comprehensively transform electric vehicles,and the biggest change that electrification will bring to the automobile is the vehicle architecture.The structure of the automobile has become more concise than ever before.And autonomous driving will completely change the driving experience of cars.In addition,computer modeling technology and 3D printing technology are becoming more and more mature,providing solid technical support for the automobile design with infinite possibilities.In this paper,by comparing and analyzing the exploration of automobile design language in the new era,it is found that parametric design is a popular and very promising design method.Now,the parametric design in automobile design only play the role of the skin,parametric design only applied to processing surface was clearly too superficial appearance,it has a great potential for the design of the can.To find the answer,the author tried to interdisciplinary research parametric design is used in construction field,through the analysis of all kinds of construction cases,from three dimensions: the epidermis,the structure,semantics,layers of in-depth excavation of the parametric design for architectural design and guidance role,found the parametric design not only can be used as a rich design visual information design method,the concept phase can also become a kind of design method in design to guide the whole design.In parametric design of passenger car experiment stage,the author through the parameterized "into" semantics,urban landscape sightseeing car,for example,from the environment,the user,the vehicle itself three Angle analysis of the mode of existence of future vehicles.In the aspect of environment,vehicles can not obstruct the urban landscape and urban function,and integrate into the urban environment without publicity.On the user side,the parameterized interior space will provide multiple possibilities for self-customization for various user needs;In the aspect of vehicles,the "integration" semantics of parameterization can be used to realize the boundary between interior and exterior trim and structural parts by means of 3D printing,so as to make the whole vehicle more integrated.After,the author through parametric space exploration in the form of function,aesthetic style and design method of combined with vehicle design now,and the use of parameterized in the plane of the texture,complete a parameterized experimental design.At the end of the paper,the advantages and disadvantages of parametric design are considered in the future when parametric design is popular.
