Truss structure is widely used in engineering for its advantages of large bearing capacity,light weight,simple installation,low manufacturing cost etc.And there are a lot of truss structures applied on moving loads,however less research work about the optimization of truss on moving load can been seen up to now.Therefore,the optimization problem of truss structure under moving loads is studied in this paper.Firstly,a finite element analysis program of truss structure has been compiled,which can be used to calculate the node displacement of the structure,internal force and stress of rod in the structure when inputting the material parameters,node coordinates,element size and node number of truss structure etc.,to the program.The first step to solve the optimum problem is done.Secondly,a mathematical model of truss structure optimal design has been established under the dead load.The section area of rod in truss structure is selected as design variables and the total weight of truss structure is regarded as objective function in the model.and the strength,stiffness and stability of truss structure are considered as constraint conditions.The fully-stressed method is chosen to solve the mathematical model of optimization,so the main difficulty is overcomed to solve the optimization problem of truss structure under moving loads.The result indicate that compared with the traditional design method,the optimization method proposed here,in terms of total mass of a steel bridge truss structure,it can be reduced by more than 60 percent after optimization,which makes the economic efficiency of structural design improved significantly.The calculation results show that compared with the traditional design method,the total mass of a steel bridge truss structure reduced by more than 60 percent by using the optimization method that put forward in this paper and it can be made the economic benefits of structural design is significantly improved.
