Research On Urban Rail Train Routing Scheme Under Passenger Flow Fluctuation

Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,with the advance of urban developing scales in China,Urban population grows fast and the car ownership increases continuously.Ordinary bus system can’t meet daily passenger travel demand anymore.Urban rail transit has features such as large capacity,high speed,less delay and low energy consumption.Making great efforts to develop rail transit has become one of the effective measures to solve traffic problems in public transportation.Setting up reasonable and scientific train routing plan has important role in promoting the matching of power and demand,saving train resources and making sure urban rail transit trains in different passenger sections are under reasonable load.Firstly,the article started from the urban rail transit passenger,analyzed the main factors which affect the size of passenger flow.Then,expounded the uneven distribution of passenger flow in time and space,gave the calculation method for measuring indicators of unbalanced passenger flow.Through comparative analysis,it is demonstrated that the driving strategy of optimizing the train routing scheme is one of the most economical and feasible methods to change the rail transit service level under the fluctuation of passenger flow.Secondly,proceed from the basic theory of urban rail transit,analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of different routing modes and applicable passenger flow conditions;Analyzed the main influence factors which affected the establishment of the train routing plan from three aspects: passengers,transportation facilities and operation organization;According to the principle of formulating the way of trains routing scheme,introduced the steps for the formulation of the train routing plan.Taking into account the interests of passengers and operating companies,the article established an optimization model of the train routing scheme,which the objective function is to minimize passenger’s waiting time and operation organization’s costs;The quantitative evaluation indexes are selected from the perspective of passengers,operating companies,and operational efficiency.Lastly,with the example of Chongqing CRT line 6,according to amount of section passenger,analyzed the fluctuations of passenger flow at peak hours;Solved the model through software programming,compared with single routing program and cross routing program,tested the feasibility of the model by calculating evaluation indexes.Through the results of indicators.This paper focused on the issues which related to the operation organization of urban rail transit.And the train routing scheme optimization model can decrease the whole passenger waiting time and guarantee the operating costs,which has laid a foundation for perfecting the theory and method of urban rail operating organization.
