The accelerated development of urbanization has brought about many negative effects while promoting economic development,among which the most prominent one is traffic congestion.Therefore,it is very important to solve the traffic congestion effectively at the present stage.And car-following model as the main microscopic traffic flow model,has unique advantages in describing the interaction between driving vehicles,reflecting the internal mechanism of traffic flow,and revealing the laws of formation and evolution of congestion.If we can establish a reasonable car-following model,from the nature of traffic flow,it can provide a new way of thinking and method for the research of road traffic congestion.In this paper,based on the summary and study of the previous model research,a new and improved car-following model is proposed.The specific research work is as follows:First of all,this paper constructs a new car-following model which considers the influence of the preceding and following cars in driver's view.The existing carfollowing model have study on the preceding cars influence on the car driver,also have study on the following car's influence,However,according to the transmission characteristics of the car-following theory and the actual road driving experience,the driver will adjust his driving action by observing the driving condition of many vehicles around the field of vision,so as to ensure the stability of the driving movements or even the car-following system.The improved model and the FVD model are calibrated and verified by the acquisition and analysis of the car-following data of the experimental road vehicles.The results show that the improved car-following model is superior to the FVD model in fitting the experimental data.At the same time,the advantage of carfollowing model in fine description of vehicle starting and braking process can be used to test the rationality and superiority of the improved model.The experimental results show that compared with FVD model,the improved model can complete the starting and braking process of the vehicle in a shorter time,which can effectively reduce the delay of the car-following driving.Then,the stability of the model is analyzed.According to the stability theory,the stability condition of the improved model is deduced and verified.The results show that the sensitivity is more conducive to improve the stability of the system.In addition,the anti-interference ability of the system is simulated,and the simulation results of the system's driving speed,the headway and the driving tracks show that the improved model has the ability to resist interference by the small disturbance in the car following system.At the same time,with the simulation and the comparison of the classical FVD model,without consider the second front car model and without consider the following car model show that the improved model is more stable for the traffic flow characteristics of the experimental sections selected in this study.Then,in order to show that the improved model can be applied and simulation of road traffic flow,a one-dimensional continuous cellular automata is established on the basis of traditional cellular automata.Traditional cellular automata in rapid change appears in the process of traffic flow simulation,traffic flow in detail depiction has certain limitation,if can be combined with continuous cellular automata,can get more detailed depiction.The simulation results show that the new building of traffic flow simulation model can depict the experiment road traffic flow characteristic,K-Q chart with experimental road data have better fitting,this model can be used on the experimental road traffic problems.And then to improve the model part of the change of weight value to observe its influence on road traffic capacity,the results showed: the vehicle following actions must be taken into account in the following vehicles is exceed the leading vehicle,the influence of reference the influence of the leading car,but too much will form containing the following vehicle,to reduce road traffic capacity;And considering the following conditions can improve the road capacity.Finally,the conclusions and achievements of the research are summarized and summarized,and the future research direction is also prospected.
