Reinforced Concrete-Filled FRP Tubes are referred to as RCFFT.With the wide application of fiber composite reinforcements,new composite structures emerged.GFRP pipe reinforced concrete columns not only can effectively improve the bearing capacity of reinforced concrete columns,but also can effectively prevent structural corrosion in wet environments.In recent years,this structure has become a research hotspot at home and abroad,but most of them are based on the experimental analysis of small-sized components.However,in practical applications,the effect of size effect cannot be ignored.At present,there are few researches on the size effect phenomenon of the structure.Therefore,it is of great significance to deeply study the effect of the size effect of the RCFFT structure under axial compression on the application of actual engineering.In order to deeply study the size effect of reinforced concrete columns constrained by GFRP tubes under axial compression,an ANSYS finite element simulation software was used to establish the relevant models.The correctness of the model was verified by comparison with the existing experimental data,and then the components were changed to perform the module analysis.Finally,the final simulation results are summarized and analyzed.This article mainly studies the work and content:Through the finite element software of ANSYS,a finite element model of a reasonable GFRP tube confined RC column was established.Based on the experimental data of the existing literature,the correctness of the model was verified.On the basis of ensuring the correctness of the model,the single-variable method was used to analyze the specimen size,concrete strength grade,and GFRP volume allocation rate.The influence of four factors,such as reinforcement ratio,on the size effect of GFRP tube reinforced concrete columns.The ultimate bearing capacity,ultimate compressive strength,load-displacement curve,equivalent stress-strain cloud diagram and so on were compared and analyzed.The effect of size effect on the pressure behavior of GFRP tube reinforced concrete column shaft was concluded and used for the subsequent practical engineering application.Provide a certain basis.
