Research On Bamboo Landscape Design In Jiangnan Classical Garden

Since ancient times,Chinese people have been fond of bamboo.For more than thousands of years,people have planted bamboo,praised bamboo and painted bamboo.Based on the study of the bamboo landscape in the existing Jiangnan classical garden,this paper sums up the inspiration of the bamboo landscape design of the Jiangnan classical garden to the modern scenery.This is also the domain that landscape designers need to focus on and constantly think about in the future.The first part of the essay summarizes and analyzes the characteristics,the aesthetic value and cultural value of bamboo in the Jiangnan classical garden.Then the second and third part studys the development process of the bamboo landscape in the Jiangnan classical garden,and carried on the field investigation through the representative 10 Jiangnan Gardens(concentrated in Suzhou,Wuxi,Shanghai,Yangzhou),the species of bamboo and the techniques of bamboo's landscaping,the configuration method and the space construction have carried on an induction and the summary;The fourth part is based on the landscape technique and collocation method of bamboo in the Jiangnan classical garden,and illustrates the revelation meaning of bamboo scene to modern landscape design in the aspect of landscaping technique,collocation mode and artistic conception.Finally,The last part of this paper combines the theoretical results of the thesis with the existing one,and makes a tentative practice.The landscaping of bamboo plants is a combination of art and practice,which reflects their artistic conception and culture through the unique artistic expression,and can make the artistic conception and culture more effective in landscape practice.
