Sludge contains a lot of harmful substances,and improper disposal will cause serious pollution to the environment.In general,due to high water content,high fluidity,low strength,sludge can not be directly used for building material,utilizatioin of sludge is becoming an important research topic in native and abroad as well as significant economic and social benefits.This paper is devoted to research low cost solification and its application technology on building materials.This paper mainly researched effect of key parameters of curing regime on solidification sludge,and deterimined optimum curing regime;the optimum mixture of sludge solidified by Portland cement system obtained by single and orthogonal experiment;non-sintered brick was prepared with optimum mixture of solidification sludge,and consequently,this paper researched the moulding process,mechanical properties,water resistance of non-sinitered birck.Through experimental investigated effect of drying temperature,static placing time in room,drying time and natural curing time after drying on metchanial properties of sludge sample,integrate the orthognonal experimental results,the research obtained the optimum curing regime is static placing time 6.0h,dryingtemperature is 70? drying time is 3.Oh,and natural curing time after drying is 7d.Took Portland cement,fly ash,silica fume,calcium oxide,et al and various chemical agents as solidifcation materials,this research experimental investigated the effect of solidifcation materials on sludge.The experimental results show that the solidifcation ability of cementitious material is cement>silica fume>lime>fly ash.To these cementitious materials,mechanical properties of solidification sludge linear increases with the content of cement,silica fume has influence on the viscosity of fresh sludge;fly ash decreases the early strength of sludge sample;the solidification ability of the reinforcing agents are ZYD>ZYC>ZYA>ZYB>ZYE;the optimum mixture of solidification materials is cement 25%,silica fume 10%,quicklime 3%,reinforcing agent ZYD 1.0%and reinforcing agent ZYC 5.0%.Based on the optimum curing regime and optimum mixture of solidification materials,the research designed non-sintered brick,and experimental investigated laboratory preparing process,and determined the feasibility of preparing non-sintered brick with solidification sludge by analyzing appearance quality and size deviation,compressive strength,density,water absorption,water resistance and acid alkali corrosion resistance of non-sintered brick,the experimental results show that the main physical properties of non-sintered brick meet with requirements of relevant standard.The non-sintered brick haspoor acid corrosion resistance and good alkali corrosion resistance.
