With the developing of society,an increasingly number of high-rise buildings and underground engineering in the cities,which caused the deep excavation has become a hot field and difficult problems of civil engineering.Soil nailing support technology are favored by the majority of geotechnical engineers for the reasons that the low cost,short construction period,strong adaptability and other advantages.But its working mechanism is still not deep enough,the design and calculation method is not perfect,which affect and limit its further development.In this paper,start with the concept of soil nailing support system,elaborated on the application development process and research status of soil nailing techniquesummarized the engineering characteristics of soil nailing wall system,the advantages of its scope and pointed out the problems of soil nailing wall technology.Depth analysis and discussion of the working mechanism of soil nailing support system,failure mode,design theory and computational methods which are widely used currently.Discussed in detail in the excavation program selection,optimization design of soil nailing support structure,the information construction and testing experimental data analysis with the specific project,using the limit equilibrium analysis(standardized method),limited element analysis of the program and compared with the results of field data.Study the distribution of soil nails internal force of soil nailing wall space system,the law of development trends and soil deformation.The results showed that:the increasing spacing of soil nailing caused the soil deformation and soil nail pull increasing,soil nail length increasing,security and stability of soil nailing support system improved.The results which soil nail pull norms calculated are almost the same with the results which measured in the tests,nailing force and soil deformation development trend of with the working conditions which analyzed by the finite element and results of the measured in the tests are matched.Provided some useful results for the colleague reference in practice.
