The internal combustion tamping pick is a kind of small equipment for maintenance and construction in railway industry,which is mainly used in the railway ballast tamping operation.Nowadays,the railway maintenance tool,which is dominated by large maintenance machinery,can solve most of the railway maintenance work,but many small works such as tamping ballast under the sleeper can’t be solved by large equipment due to its enormous shape,compared with the big machines such as tamping car,the advantages of tamping pick are obvious.It is indispensable for the tamping pick in the background of the booming railway industry today.The eccentric components inside the tamping pick will produce periodic inertia forces and inertia moments,resulting in vibration to ensure the normal operation of the tamping pick.However,the unnecessary harmful vibration will have some certain negative effects on the body and mind of the operator.Therefore,under the premise of ensuring normal work of tamping pick,it is very meaningful for study to analyze vibration of tamping pick,improve the resonant parts and equip damping block for the tamping pick,reduce the excessive harmful vibration caused by the effect of passing force on the operator,improve the operator’s comfort and prolong the service life of the tamping pick.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)introduce the basic equations and modal analysis methods of single degree-of-freedom system and multi-degree-of-freedom system based on the theory of mechanical vibration.(2)Establish finite element model of the internal combustion tamping pick based on Pro/E modeling software,Using ANSYS Workbench software to implement modal analysis for the main parts and assembly of the internal combustion tamping pick in order to obtain the natural frequency and mode of the target objects.(3)Using harmonic response analysis to obtain vibration mode of the internal combustion tamping pick based on the ANSYS Workbench software.redesign the resonant parts according to the dynamic analysis.(4)Establish the dynamic analysis model of the system based on the theory of vibration reduction and the actual situation of the internal combustion tamping pick,define the basic size and parameters of rubber damping block according to the actual situation of power transmission system.Finally,determine the rubber damping block which satisfies the purpose of vibration reduction,the use requirement and the optimal structure shape,take the statics simulation analysis for the rubber damping block and test its rationality.(5)Analyze the vibration mode of the internal combustion tamping pick improved through the analysis of the harmonic response in order to test the vibration reduction effect.
