Double skin fa?ade(DSF)is a new type of maintenance structure which is very popular nowadays.Benefit from its beautiful appearance and a broad vision provided,engineers tend to choose it.At the same time,DSF is more energy-saving compared to traditional Glass Curtain Wall.However,we can’t conclude that DSF is a kind of excellent maintenance structure.There are many projects involved DSF take examples from abroad in China,which is not suitable and energy-saving.Therefore,a scientific measure is needed to solve these problems.In this thesis,a thermal model of DSF is established.The heat-transfer process of DSF is composed of optical model,ventilation model and heat transfer model.When it comes to optical model,we take direct radiation and diffuse radiation into consideration at the same time.As to ventilation,only hot-pressing is considered.This model can quickly and accurately simulate the thermal performance of DSF,which is applicable in engineering practice.We analyze the structure parameter of DSF such as slat angle,ventilated cavity distance,the Size of vent and the height of curtain wall during air conditioning season and heating season.In order to estimate the energy saving potential of DSF in china,experts analyze the energy consumption performance of DSF compared to traditional maintenance structure in different cities.According to the analyses above,we can conclude that: slat angle can influence ventilation and the solar radiation into room,slat angle set ting as 60° will be a good choice;Increasing ventilated cavity distance can promote ventilation effect in summer,but the enhancing effect has its limits,in winter it has no influence;ventilation rate is promoted linearly when increasing the size of vent,but the utility is more slightly compared to slat angle and ventilated cavity distance;the height of curtain wall has no influence to DSF in both winter and summer;DSF is an energy efficient maintenance structure in severe cold region;when it comes to cold region,DSF is energy-saving in east orientation;as to other regions,the performance of DSF became ordinary.
