Once a fire,it is extremely dangerous for the airport terminal which is used as the large space transportation building of the transition place of aviation and ground.In view of the primary lethal factor of large space building in fire is the diffusion of smoke,the smoke control and extraction systems has caught wide research attention.Generally speaking,natural smoke extraction is chosen in the airport terminal whose departure lounge employs top window and multi-side high side window as natural smoke exhaust window.And the effect of natural smoke exhaust are deeply influenced by the fire source power window mode and as well as outside wind speed.Herein,we analyzed the open and closed states combination of top window and multi-side high side window of departure lounge and set seven kinds of the mode of open window,based on a specially airport terminal.The natural smoke exhaust effect of seven kinds of the mode was investigated with combination of the fire location and outside wind,and the relation between the fire source power and the hazard occurrence time was obtained as well when the top window was opened.Proposing fire control requirements and alternative windowing modes at different wind speeds when taking into account the safety of evacuation.Results are as follows:(1)If there isn't outside wind and fire source in difference place,the mode of open top window should be adopted when unilateral exhaust smoke window is only opened;the mode of open all windows should be used when multi-side window is opened.(2)When the top window is only opened as well as different outside wind speeds,the hazard occurrence time t and the fire source power Q satisfy the relation:t=x0+A/(1+10^(bQ-c)).(3)For the departure lounge of the airport terminal,natural smoke exhaust is a kind of effective approach.If only the inflammable goods is reasonably controlled and the fire source power was confined under 6 MW,seven kind modes of open wind can offer enough time for the safety evacuation of crowd.(4)When the fire source power is larger than 6 MW and the wind speed is not more than 5 m/s,all top side and top window should be opened;when the wind speed is higher 5 m/s,top side window in windward should be closed and top window and other top side window should be opened at this time.The research work in this article also provide according theoretical basis and reference for the mode of open window of natural smoke exhaustion in similar engineering project.
