The study on nonlinear response and collapse of structures under seismic action is an important subject of structural engineering,and it is also one of the current research hotspots.Multi-spring shell element model suitable for wall-slab structures of the discrete element of shear constitutive model does not consider cracking in reinforced concrete member in the shear process.The model for stiffness and strength degradation and pinch phenomenon characteristics is not obvious,not to analyze shear effect of nonlinear seismic response and collapse process of failure shear wall structure of the larger,which makes the discrete element method has some limitations.On the other hand,some valuable results have been obtained in the field of visualization in scientific computing.Based on the discrete element method,the graphic display method for the simulation of the collapse process of the shear wall structure still has much room for improvement.Therefore,this paper mainly discusses the simulation of collapse process of RC shear wall structure with discrete element method.specific work is as follows:1.In this paper,the constitutive relation of the shear spring is presented for the multi-spring shell element model.The shear spring constitutive model for the three linear model,using the modified Takeda model and unloading rules for the strength degradation,stiffness degradation and pinch slip characteristics can contraction effect is evident.According to the improved three line shear spring constitutive model,the discrete element program SMS-Collapse is developed for the two time.2.The improved discrete element program SMS-Collapse is used to simulate the reinforced concrete shear wall under low cyclic horizontal load,and the results are compared with the experimental results.Based on the comparison and analysis,the constitutive model established in this paper can accurately describe the nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete shear walls.In addition.the numerical simulation of reinforced concrete plane frame shear wall structure under low cyclic horizontal load is carried out.The results show that the model is reasonable and can be applied to the analysis of the nonlinear and collapse failure of the plane structure.3.According to the structure of reinforced concrete shear wall collapse process of the simulation analysis,this paper uses the VC++ development tools.MFC based window mode,the unit of data read information discrete element program output,using OpenGL as the graphics programming interface,a simulation program of collapse of a set of independent 3D animation structure.Functions such as model establishment,view transformation,model transformation and texture mapping are realized.Through 3D animation,the program can be intuitive and true to the shear wall structure and dynamic collapse process of 3D simulation.4.The 3D animation program SPOS-DEM on the collapse process of reinforced concrete structure of the first stage(i.e.nonlinear dynamic phase)two stage(i.e.collapse stage)and the failure phenomenon and collapse form simple description and 3D animation display.It shows that the SPOS-DEM program can be used to describe the unit discontinuity and the inter unit contact collision,and can clearly view the specific damage form of the structure.
