| Marine target detection and tracking technology has a wide range of applications in the military field,surveillance of maritime violations,and ship traffic management.Because the infrared acquisition system can not be affected by the night and bad environment,so it is often used for monitoring the sea surface target.Sea conditions are more complex,and sea clutter and background noise are more serious,so detecting and tracking ship targets is more difficult.This paper researches the preprocessing of infrared images,the detection and tracking methods of moving ships based on infrared video,and designs a software platform for infrared detection and tracking.The main research work is as follows:1.The selection of the infrared ship image preprocessing method.First of all,the characteristics of infrared images are analyzed.After a series of experiments and results analysis of various image processing methods,Top-hat filter is finally selected.Top-hat filter can more effectively suppress background and sea clutter noise,highlight ship targets,and facilitate subsequent ship detection.2.For the detection of moving ships on infrared sea surface,an improved algorithm of ViBe is proposed.Firstly,some common moving object algorithms are researched and analyzed.For the shortcomings of traditional algorithms,this paper improves the ViBe.On the one hand,the distance threshold of ViBe is changed from the original fixed threshold to the adaptive threshold to deal with complexities.On the other hand,the color distortion in the Codebook was introduced to better detect the ship targets in infrared video.Experiments show that the method has better robustness.3.In the part of infrared video target tracking algorithm,the theoretical research on Mean Shift and STC was carried out,and experiments were performed on infrared ship video and infrared pedestrian video.Finally,the results of the tracking were analyzed in detail.4.Finally,based on the algorithm described above,a software platform for the detection and tracking of moving ships in infrared video based on MFC was designed.Through testing,it can be concluded that the software platform can realize the detection and tracking of moving ships in infrared video. |
