The soil ruins,very important historical sites,are the crystallization of the wisdom of the ancient working people in the long river of history,which have great history,science,art and social value.In ddition,the ruins can provide a strong support for our study on the ancient architectural form and historical events.So we have the historical responsibility to protect and develop the soil ruins.As the soil ruins exposed to the field for a long time influenced by he natural environment,historical events and the impact of human activities,a variety of diseases have been produced.Now,many soil ruins in the northwest China are generally threatened with the collapse and destruction.However,currently,the treatment of the soil ruins fissure is in the stage of experiential applications,and fissure grouting material selection and grouting process are attempting to improve.Based on the investigation of the fissure on the soil ruins in the northwest China,we made a general description to the fissures,after that we summarized several types to them,and analysised the causative mechanism of each type.In order to enrich the grouting material suitable for the fissure reinforcement to the soil ruins in the northwest region,we mixed SH,the fly ash and the soil with appropriate water-cement ratio as the grouting material.According to the engineering experience,C:F= 1:1 is adopted.But for the optimum concentration of SH and the optimum content of CaO,we tested the shrinkage deformability and age strength of different concentrations of SH and different content of CaO.After these tests,the results showed that the optimum concentration of SH was 1.6%,and the optimum content of CaO was 10%.Then we evaluated the durability of the slurry.Finally,we studied the shear characteristics and bond characteristics between the pulp and soil interface by simulating fissure grouting in the room.The above tests showed that the SH-(C+F+CaO)material has a strong applicability.For the study of fissure grouting process,we divide the fissure into three categories according to the width scale.We use syringes to carry out fissure grouting directly to the less than 2cm in width.And we reinforce by fissure filling grouting to the fissure width from 2cm to 5cm;for greater than 5cm fissures,according to whether it is a dangerous body,we respectively use filling grouting and soil reduction technology combining with anchor to strengthen.We use the foundation bearing capacity penetration instrument,RSM-SY5non-metallic sound wave instrument and infrared thermal imager with rain erosion test to evaluate the effect of fissure reinforcement.And the test results show that it is the same indicator to the grouting material and the original site.Therefore,the SH-(C+F+CaO)slurry is a good grouting material,and the grouting process can effectively strengthen the fissure.The grouting material and process used in the experiment have a certain guiding role for the reinforcement of the soil ruins.
