With the rapid development of high-speed train technology,the traditional train communication network is difficult to satisfy the needs of the transmission of large capacity information.The bottleneck problem of train communication network could be solved by high bandwidth and low cost Ethernet.However,the CSMA/CD communication mechanism is accepted by Ethernet,which brings out poor real-time and stability,so that the real-time requirement of train communication network could not be satisfied.Some measures to improve real-time and stability of train communication network based on Ethernet are studied in this paper.So that some better solution of Ethernet applied to train communication could be provided,meanwhile,some reference could be provided to the progress of our country's high-speed train technology.The train communication network based on Ethernet is researched and verified in practice based on the development trend of other bus applied to the train communication is replaced by Ethernet.Firstly,the train communication network architecture based on Ethernet is designed in this paper,and some related equipment module and the train system are introduced.on this basis,the STP,VLAN working and topology discovery principles based on the train communication network are stated.The cause of poor real-time performance and stability of the Ethernet network is analyzed.The most optimal network diameter is chose through the computation of initialization time and fault self-healing operation time of train ring network communication based on Ethernet,so that the stability of the train communication network can be improved.The theory that the network real-time can be improved effectively by VLAN is demonstrated through the computation of the VLAN network time delay.Secondly,the theories that the network real-time could be improved and the smaller of the network load,the higher of network real-time are proved through network modeling and real-time simulation with OPNET network simulation software.Finally,a managed switch is designed in order to realize the network management function.Then the static VLAN experiments are processed on the managed switch,and ideal results are obtained.
