Research On Living Vegetation Volume Transition In Guanggu,Wuhan Under The Background Of Rapid Urbanization

Abstract/Summary:
The wave of global urbanization improve our life quality and bring convenience to us,but at the same time it also results in a series of problems like ecological unbalance,social instability and so on.Especially in rapid urbanization such problems is much more serious.In recent years,the ecological and environmental problems attracted wide attention which including smog,water pollution,urban lakes degradation and so on.Many urban researchers focus on these city ecological problems that related closely to citizens.As green infrastructure of city,the green space cooperate with gray infrastructure to maintain city operation.Undoubtedly,the green space paly an irreplaceable role in protecting integrity and stability of urban ecological process.But now the measurement index of urban green space quality is based on two-dimensional indices including the green rate,the area of urban park per capita and so on.Little three-dimensional indices are used in evaluating urban green space which lead to lacking consideration on urban green space ecologiacal benefits.The living vegetation volume represents a region of leaf area that related closely to many physiological and ecological indicators like Photosynthesis and so on.So the living vegetation volume could indirectly reflect the ecological value of urban green space.In this article,the author take rapid urbanization region Guanggu,Wuhan for example,analyzing the transformation characteristic of living vegetation volume from 1994 to 2014.Providing guidance for Guanggu green space construction based on living vegetation index aspect.The characteristic of living vegetation volume transformation in Guanggu are as follows:Firstly,the overall LVV of Guanggu decreased rapidly in past 20 years.The extent of decline is about 27%and the GVR fall from 1.47 to 2.01.However,diversity of urbanization process in each region lead to different LVV transformation features.Secondly,GVR and landscape urbanization rate show significant negative correlation.The regression equation is Y=2.384e-0 021x.Thirdly,the transformation range of low and medium grade LVV is much bigger than high grade LVV.The low grade LVV and the medium grade LVV declined significantly.Fourthly,muchu LVV transformed into urban artificial surfaces.With the development of urban,the transformation rate increased gradually.Fifthly,the overall GVR concentration degree of administrative unit keeped high level from 1994 to 2014 while the low GVR concentration region expanded eastward.Sixthly,various landscape urbanization gradient had an impact on transformation of LVV.The transformation degree of LVV in urban fringe region is the fiercest in three landscape urbanization types.The countryside region is the second place.The transformation degree of LVV in urban region is much more smaller than other two types.According to study result,the author put forward corresponding tactics for different region in Guanggu short term construction extent,constructing GVR grading protection system.Finally,establishing "one core one axis,multi-corridor multi-point" LVV net system based on Guanggu green space plan to maintain future LVV pattern stability.
