The transport volume of Chinese railways is rising rapidly with the development of the national economy.Attendantly,there are more and more requirements for the maintenance of existing railway.The traditional "relative working method" has become difficult to meet the requirements for the maintenance of Chinese existing railway increasingly.Substantial accomplishments in the high-speed railway have been achieved with the track geometry measuring instrument.But it comes with a high cost and low efficiency.Therefore,China Railway Engineering Consulting Group Co.Ltd and Southwest Jiaotong University have developed a new special measuring device for the ballasted railway tracks independently and respectively.With the advent of the device,algorithm research on the adjustment of ballast track of existing railway with general speed is imperative,which can be based on three-dimensional coordinates of the left track and the right track.Above all,the main research contents of the thesis are as follow:Firstly,calculating the actual linear information of existing railway accurately with three-dimensional coordinates of the left track and the right track which have different mileages.Secondly,calculating the value of track shifting and lining that are suitable for precision stamping,according to the original observation data and the reference line information of plane and longitudinal profile,and etc.Thirdly,developing an adjustment software for railway track,which is suitable for ballasted existing railway with general speed,and which makes sure that the calculated results of the value of track shifting and lining can be directly applied to the tamping machine.Through the research on above contents,the conclusions and results of the thesis are as follow:Firstly,a robust estimation method is introduced into the track linear segmentation and fitting of the ballasted existing railway with general speed.The method can weaken the adverse effect of the gross error and the local deformation of track for the linear track segments and fitting effectively.Secondly,three calculation methods of midline parameters of line and circle have been introduced and deduced in this thesis.Moreover,the actual calculation results of the three methods are validated and compared.In addition,a single parameter profile circular curve fitting model is derived,and the correctness and effectiveness of the model are verified.Thirdly,a rigorous calculation method of the vertical and horizontal deviation of tracks have been introduced in this thesis.In addition,the calculation method of the value of shifting and lining of any mileage has been introduced too.Fourthly,a track adjusting calculation software has been developed.The software has realized the most computational work of the track adjustment of the ballasted existing railway with general speed.In addition,the software can also generate the VER file and GEO file that suitable for Tamping Coach.
