Based on the practical engineering background of no.4202 working face in the South No.2 Mining Area of Sitong mine,Shanxi transportation and marketing group,and on the basis of detailed analysis of the research results of domestic and foreign scholars,this paper discusses the feasibility of carrying out roof cutting and pressure relief along the goaf for this deep buried thin coal seam working face,and designs the method of roof cutting and pressure relief along the goaf The scheme of roadway support optimizes the parameters of roadway support.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the elastic mechanics theory,the paper further demonstrates the feasibility of using the technology of top pressure relief and gob side entry retaining in the 4202 thin coal seam of South No.2 Mining Area of Sitong coal mine,and draws the conclusion that compared with the traditional gob side entry retaining,the support resistance required by top pressure relief and gob side entry retaining is smaller.(2)On the basis of theoretical analysis,according to the engineering practice of transportation roadway in no.4202 working face of South No.Through numerical simulation and analysis,the best supporting scheme is determined as bolt support for roadway side,a row of constant resistance anchor cable for roof near goaf side,common anchor cable and bolt joint support for other positions,and single hydraulic prop with anchor mesh support for goaf side.(3)The simulation results show that under the influence of secondary mining stress,the maximum displacement of the roadway can be controlled within 200 mm,and the surrounding rock control effect of the roadway is obvious,which meets the demand of safe mining.(4)The distance between single hydraulic prop,anchor cable row,constant resistance anchor cable and the edge of goaf are selected as the influencing factors,and the objective parameter is the minimum deformation of surrounding rock of roadway.The orthogonal test results are analyzed by range method,and the optimal scheme is determined as the distance between single hydraulic prop 500 mm,anchor cable row 1500 mm,constant resistance anchor cable and goaf 400 mm The roadway supporting parameters of the technology of top cutting and pressure relief are given.(5)Based on the optimized design scheme and supporting parameters,the field industrial test is carried out.The test results show that the application effect of the technology of cutting top and pressure relief along the goaf is good,the deformation of the surrounding rock of the roadway is controlled within the safe range,and the expected effect of the design of cutting top and pressure relief along the goaf is achieved.
