With the rapid development of the industrialization era,oil and gas have become the most important strategic resources.The traditional oil field exploitation faces problems such as oil well depletion and the increasing difficulty in exploitation,making people pay their attention to shale oil,which has not been paid attention to before.Hydraulic fracturing technology has become an important means to extract shale oil,but hydraulic fracturing has strict proppant requirements.The most commonly used proppant is high-quality bauxite.However,the resources of high-quality bauxite are decreasing with the development of oil and gas.Therefore,finding a new and durable proppant is an urgent issue in exploiting natural resources such as oil and gas.Ceramic proppants attract more and more attention due to their advantages in the manufacture,wear resistance,high hardness,and corrosion resistance.The most commonly used ceramic proppant is the scorched gem proppant.In this paper,we use coke stones as the main raw materials;other raw materials such as calcined al?min?m oxide powder,fly ash,red mud,coal gangue,and quartz sand are added to the coke stones.We examine the effects of various factors on the performance of the ceramic proppants by adjusting the amount of the above raw materials in the coke stones.The main findings of this paper:(1)We add 10%-40%solid waste fly ash to coke gems to prepare 40-70 mesh ceramic proppant products with a crushing rate of less than 10%under 69MPa.The proppant crushing rate increases with fly ash,while the density of proppant decreases with the addition of fly ash.(2)With the addition of 10%-40%solid waste red mud into the coke stones,the proppant fragmentation rate increases with the increase of red mud.The addition of40%red mud can still produce 40-70 order ceramic proppant products with a fragmentation rate of less than 10%at 69MPa.(3)The proppant density decreases with the increase of the amount of coal gangue.The apparent proppant density reaches 2.64g/cm~3,with the addition of 50%coal gangue.We synthesize 40-70 mesh ceramic proppant products with a crushing rate of less than10%under 69MPa.(4)The proppant density decreases with the amount of quartz sand increases when10%-40%quartz sand added to the coke stones.The apparent proppant density of 40%quartz sand reaches 2.55g/cm~3,which is the ultra-low density proppant product;the crushing rate is as low as less than 10%at 52MPa.In this experiment,the chamotte calcined alpha al?mina powder,coal gangue,fly ash,red mud,quartz sand,and other solid waste or low-cost raw material,respectively.The preparation of the ultra-low density and strength meet industry's requirements of ceramic proppant,efficient and reasonable use of solid waste,for the processing of solid waste and low-density high strength ceramic proppant provides a new train of thought,has the very broad application prospects.
