In Manufacturing,national defense industry,aerospace,medical and other fields,the demand for precision parts is growing.The precision manufacturing of these parts is directly related to the service life and Factor of safety of the instrument.In order to obtain high-quality precision and ultra-precision parts,parts polishing is particularly important.In the traditional polishing technology,abrasive flow machining is a typical non-contact polishing technology,which uses semi-solid abrasive as the processing tool,in the fixture and workpiece to be processed on the flow channel to squeeze back and forth to achieve the polishing effect.In this paper,a contactless permanent magnet driven LMA abrasive polishing machine is developed based on Abrasive flow polishing technology,which is characterized by using fusible alloy as polishing abrasives,the magnetic drive force drives the abrasive to polish the parts,and the high frequency vibration makes the polishing effect better.This polishing method changes the traditional Abrasive flow technology using a fixture fixed a single part of the characteristics,at the same time polishing abrasive can be re-used,reduce the cost of polishing.In this paper,a prototype of LMA abrasive polishing machine driven by non-contact permanent magnet is designed and developed.The effects of vibration amplitude,type of fusible alloy,polishing time and the number of parts in a single polishing process on the polishing effect are analyzed through experiments.Firstly,the existing abrasive flow technology and fusible alloy characteristics are analyzed,and the mechanical structure of the polishing machine is designed,including:Outer Frame,transmission device,polishing device,lifting device,recovery device and control device,and Build A three-dimensional model.Secondly,the finite element analysis software is used to analyze the mode of the external frame of the polishing machine,and the thermodynamic analysis is carried out to verify the structural stability of the polishing machine frame and the heat transfer during the heating process.Finally,according to the principle of the prototype design and development of debugging and structural optimization,and the impact of the factors of the prototype polishing effect of the experimental analysis,the main factors include: Vibration amplitude,the choice of different fusible alloy,polishing time and so on.
