Research On The Correlation Between R&D Investment And Financial Performance Of HT Company

At present,the market economy is developing vigorously,followed by the increase of the competitive pressure of enterprises.Financial performance evaluation index can effectively reflect the financial status of enterprises,and the academic community has shifted its focus to the scientific evaluation of financial performance,which can provide objective basis for decision-makers and formulate development strategies.In the past few years,HT company has focused on research and development,constantly improving its research and development ability and innovation competitiveness,and occupied more and more domestic market shares through efforts.Therefore,it is still not certain whether r & d investment has an exact impact on HT' financial performance.Therefore,it is worth our attention to study its correlation,which is beneficial to help enterprises identify the problems and make Suggestions.From the previous literature,most of the existing literature on this core point is empirical research.The conclusions are often general and focus on policies,regions,etc.Only some scholars choose the case analysis method,but the relationship between r&d investment and enterprise performance cannot be accurately expressed,because the case analysis process is simple and the selected indicators are relatively simple.In view of the shortcomings of historical research,this paper proposes some innovations in analysis.The main contents and research conclusions of this paper are as follows:First,it gives an overview of relevant theories on R & D investment and financial performance,defines concepts of R & D investment and financial performance,introduces related theories such as the relationship between R & D investment and financial performance,and then conducts case studies around HT companies to briefly introduce the overall situation,R & D investment status and financial performance status.Secondly,Spearman correlation is used to analyze the correlation between the amount of R & D investment and financial performance and the correlation between the intensity of R & D investment and financial performance.The data of HT companies from 2014 to 2018 are selected as samples,and the profitability and development capacity of the company are selected The number of twelve performance evaluation indicators for operating capacity and solvency,after accurately positioning the company's industry specificity,selected 60 listed companies in the same region and the same manufacturing industry,and filtered sample data and then calculated The twelve indicators of the sixty enterprises use SPSS20.0 to perform factor analysis to obtain four public factors,and calculate comprehensive performance indicatorsbased on the factor scores of the indicators.Through the combination of trend analysis and spearman correlation coefficient method to analyze the relationship between two pairs.According to the analysis results,we find that the total amount of R & D investment,the intensity of R & D investment and the overall performance of financial performance of HT companies are all positively correlated,which shows that the growth of corporate R & D expenditure and financial performance are positively influenced by each other.Finally,based on the conclusions of the above research and the problems and results emphasized in this article,starting from two aspects: suggestions for improving R & D investment to improve financial performance and suggestions for improving financial performance to improve R &D investment,some suggestions are made to HT company.Even the entire manufacturing industry has certain guiding significance.
