Since 2002,the rare earth concentrate produced by weishan has decreased sharply and its market share has decreased.At present,the method of weishan rare earth concentrator is still improved in 2001.The method is more complex and the rare earth yield is lower.Nowadays,with the rapid development of science and technology,the development of various sophisticated mineral analysis software and equipment makes the state analysis of fine minerals more thorough.This experiment used the most advanced equipment and process mineralogy automatic analyzer(BPMA)to analyze the particle size distribution characteristics of rare earth,the variation characteristics of dissociation degree and the continuity degree of rare earth minerals in different grinding periods.According to its variation rule,the flotation experiment was carried out to provide a more efficient separation method for rare earth recovery.In this paper,the occurrence of rare earth particles in rare earth minerals in weishan,shandong province in different grinding periods was studied by means of scanning electron microscopy(sem),energy spectrum,automatic process mineralogy analyzer(BPMA)and other advanced technologies.Rare earth minerals found in the minerals are mainly fluorocarbonate minerals,a few are monazite,cerium apatite.Gangue minerals are mainly calcite,lapis lazuli,feldspar,fluorite,pyrite and so on.Then,according to the grain size change curve of rare earth minerals in different grinding periods,it is found that the grain size change range of fluorocarbon cerium ore is larger than that of fluorocarbon cerium ore in the process of fine grinding,which proves that fluorocarbon cerium ore is easier to grind than fluorocarbon cerium ore.It was found that the dissociation degree of rare-earth minerals reached the maximum value after grinding for 11 min,and the dissociation degree of rare-earth minerals decreased slowly after grinding for 11 min.At this time,the dissociation degree of the rare earth mineral cerium fluorocarbon ore is greater than 80%,accounting for 88.14% of the cerium fluorocarbon ore,among which the monomer accounts for 47.73%.Fluorocarbon calcium cerium ore accounts for 74.99%,among which the monomer accounts for 49.98%.The corresponding particle size is distributed in 20-38 households,accounting for about 30% of the total.By observing the occurrence of rare earth minerals at the grinding stage of 11 min,it is found that rare earth minerals are closely interlaid with calcite,lapis lazuli,fluorite,quartz,etc.,many calcite particles in the fluorocarbon cerium mine are distributed in the rare earth mineral particles as microcellular particles,and a small amount of fluorite,lapis lazuli,etc.,are connected to the edge of fluorocarbon cerium.However,there are almost no calcite particles in the fluorocarbon cerium ore particles,most of which are connected with fluorocarbon cerium ore,while a few are connected with gangue minerals calcite,lapis lazurite and apatite.It shows that the factors affecting the rare earth grade are mainly the calcite of the fine particles in the fluorocarbon calcium cerium ore particles.Based on different grinding time the shore of beautifiul weishan rare earths for roughing experiment,control in the process of flotation collector,inhibitors,constant temperature conditions,the grinding 8 min min,11,14 min after roughing respectively have been the no.1,2,3,11 min period found in grinding to get the best 2 products of rare earth flotation indexes,the rare earth production rate of 25.99%,grade is 56.59%,the recovery rate is 85.42%,consistent with the BPMA analysis,is the best roughing stage.Three kinds of products after rough selection were carefully selected after the second grinding,and compared with the three kinds of products after rough selection.The experimental results show that the raw products selected directly for the second time have high rare earth quality and uniform efficiency,about 5%-7%.After the secondary grinding of the three rough-selected products and the selection experiment,the grade of no.1 product after flotation increased the most,with an increase of 12.37.Product no.2 improved by only 7.96;Product no.3 increases by 9.49.At this point,the flotation grade of no.1 concentrate after secondary grinding is higher than that of no.2 concentrate after direct selection.According to the experimental results under different conditions,it was found that although the coarse selection was the best in the weishan rare earth mine at the time of grinding for 11 min,the flotation index did not improve significantly in the direct selection experiment.Instead,the initial rough selection after 8min grinding was carried out,followed by secondary grinding,and then the selective experiment was carried out.At this time,the flotation index of rare earth was the best.Therefore,the flotation index of rare earth can be greatly improved in weishan rare earth mine due to the use of coarse grinding and coarse separation,fine grinding and fine selection...
