| Pervaporation,an efficient membrane separation technique based on the adsorption-diffusion mechanism,has demonstrated distinct advantages of low energy consumption,environmental friendliness,small footprint and mild operation conditions.What’s more,pervaporation is powerful to separations of azeotropic mioxtures and thermosensive substances becased it’s not restricted by the vapour–liquid equilibrium.As is well know,most of pervaporation membrane have still suffered from insufficient chemical and thermal stability,which precludes their space toward practical applications in harsh environments.In this work,we have successfully synthesized the chemical and thermal stable biologically derived MOF(Bio-MOF)─NbU-1 with highly efficient adsorption separation performance for acetylene/ethane and NbU-1 membrane with outstanding pervaporation performance for dehydratiobn of alcohol(NbU-1 stands for Ningbo University).Thermogravimetric analysis,elemental analysis,single crystal X-ray diffraction,P-XRD,SEM and BET.etc.was carried out to characterize the NbU-1 and/or NbU-1 membrane.The whole dissertation was divided into four chapters:The first chapter mainly introduced the backgrouds of this research,especially the synthetic methods and the latest researches of the metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and the metal-organic framework membranes.And finally,the aim and the progress of this work were also emphasized.The second chapter mainly introduced the synthetic method,crystal structure and the application in separating mixture hydrocarbon(i.e.CH4,C2H2,C2H4 and C2H6)by adsorption of the NbU-1.Finally,the influences of solution pH value and the air volume above the reactor on NbU-1 crystal growth were systematically explored.The third chapter mainlly introduced the synthetic method,characterization and the pervaporation alcohol dehydration of NbU-1 membrane.In the terms of i-propanol/water,the ultrahigh separation factor was more than 90000,and the total flux was up to 0.62 kgm-2h-1 based on duplicated experiments.What’s more,the NbU-1membrane also remain robust in both acidic(HCl,pH=2)and alkaline(NaOH,pH=13)aqueous solution,which suggests that this type of Bio-MOF material has great potential in developing as next-generation pervaporation membrame.In laste chapter,the summary and the outlook of this work. |
