Rare earth elements are used in many fields because of their unique electronic layer structure showing a variety of chemical properties. At present, some scholars have begun to conduct studies on rare earth elements and arsenic and iron, and have achieved some results. However, there is still a lack of the studies on rare earth praseodymium and arsenic and iron, and systematic studies is urgently needed. Therefore, this article conducted study on different praseodymium-arsenic atom ratios, different holding temperatures and different holding times to explore the high-temperature effects of praseodymium-arsenic-iron.In this study, preparation tests were performed according to the praseodymium-arsenic atomic ratio?Pr:As=1:2,1:3,1:4?,holding temperature?T=1173K,1223K,1273K?,and different holding time?t=0h,20h,50h?kind.Metallographic microscope, scanning electron microscope,EDS energy spectroscopy and X-ray diffractometer were used to detect and analyze the high-temperature interaction of praseodymium arsenic and iron. The results showed that the high-temperature products of praseodymium arsenic and iron were Pr As,Fe2As and?-Fe solid solution of saturated arsenic, which may generate a small amount of Fe17Pr2;The relative content of high temperature products from high to low was Pr As,Fe2As,saturated arsenic?-Fe solid solution in order; The distribution of high-temperature products was different,Pr As were mainly concentrated in the central area, and Fe2As and saturated arsenic?-Fe solid solution were mainly concentrated in the edge area;As the atomic ratio of praseodymium and arsenic increased, the relative content of Pr As decreased, and the relative content of Fe2As and?-Fe solid solution of saturated arsenic increased;Temperature and constant temperature time had little effect on the relative content of Pr As,Fe2As and saturated arsenic?-Fe solid solution.
