The Study On Xinjiang Ghijak Amendment And Works Related

Amended Ghijak,the Uyghur bowed musical instruments in Xinjiang,has experienced its development for sixty to seventy years.From the early stage of the improvement to the early 1990 s,musicians of different ethnics,cultural researchers and instrument craftsmen has devoted themselves to the successful improvement.The amendment herein obtained unexpected welcome by ordinary people including Uyghur as well.With the popularity,many excellent performers and various works of ethnic,regional and artistic styles have greatly promoted the further development of Uygur traditional music.From the material perspective,studies on cultural function,structures,production process,performance form and playing techniques,practical application and effect are of relatively large number,whereas studies on improvement purpose,principle,technical processing and performance comparison are less focused.The classification by modern works style analysis is even more scarce.Based on the existing data,fieldworks,interviews and analyses,this paper aims at the origin,the performance comparison on amendment,the practical application,the classification and discusses style characteristics of works.
