| The PES membranes coated with Zero Valent Iron nanoparticles were obtained by wet-phase inversion technique and discussed the effect on Cr(Ⅵ)and MO removal.We also sulfonated polyether sulfone,and prepared neutral sulfonated polyethersulfone(PES)membranes coated with nanoscale zero valent iron.The membranes were used for decolorization of methyl orange.The hybrid NZVI/PES membranes were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),field emission scanning electron microscope with energy dispersive spectrometer(FESEM-EDS),Thermogravimetric(TG)analysis.Through SEM-EDX data analysis found that the NZVI particles were well-dispersed in the PES membrane,and can effectively prevent the oxidation of the NZVI.It would found that the NZVI/PES membranes have inherent heat resistance through TGA data analysis.The batch experiments of Cr(Ⅵ)solution removal stated that with the initial solution pH and the initial concentration of Cr(Ⅵ)solution increasing,the removal efficiency of Cr(Ⅵ)solution decrease.Cr(Ⅵ)removal efficiency increased with the increase of NZVI/PES(E2020P)membrane contained iron dosing quantity increase.Kinetics studies found that hybrid NZVI/PES(E2020P)membrane for removal of Cr(Ⅵ)solution belong to pseudo-first-order kinetics theory,and there were a good linear relationship with pH and initial Cr(Ⅵ)concentration as variables.The batch experiments of MO solution removal stated that with the initial solution pH and the initial concentration of MO solution increasing,the removal efficiency of MO solution decrease.MO removal efficiency increased with the increase of NZVI/PES membrane contained iron dosing quantity increase.The neutral sulfur polyether sulfone membrane containing nano zero valent iron is better than non sulfur polyether sulfone membrane containing nano zero valent iron for methyl orange removal,when the mass ratio of SPES-Na:PES=1:1,the menbrane has the optimal effect on methyl orange removal.Kinetics studies found that hybrid NZVI/PES membrane for removal of MO solution belong to pseudo-first-order kinetics theory,and there were a good linear relationship with pH and the dosage of NZVI as variables.The above results demonstrated that the hybrid NZVI/PES membrane for the removal of Cr(Ⅵ)in aqueous solution is a promising material. |
