In recent years,with the fast development of the aerospace field,the newly designedproducts in the industry are becoming more and more precise,miniaturized and specialized in structure.In order to meet the technical requirements of continuous improvement,with the conventional processing methods improving,more in-depth study of unconventional process methods is also required.Among them,the processing of large depth-diameter ratio and small microhole with high difficulty appears in a large number of products of various types.EDM has attracted the attention of academia and industry because of its characteristics of ultra-precision and high precision.Especially for small hole machining with large depth-diameter ratio,it has great advantages.As an important application field of EDM,hole machining is the key technology and important symbol of the development level of EDM.Based on the special structure of turbine rear shaft on an aeroengine centrifugal lubricating oil cross hole,this paper carry out the big hanging long deep hole EDM technology research discussion,This research aims to achieve a technological breakthrough in the machining of high precision deep hole with large suspension length on similar machining materials such as nickel-based superalloy,solve the bottleneck problem of machining with large suspension length deep hole in aero-engine,and lay a certain technological foundation for the subsequent similar manufacturing.The methods are mainly through the combination of different types of electrode test to find out suitable for aperture size of the electrode,adopt the method of orthogonal test for involves the voltage,current,pulse,pulse width and other processing parameters test results to meet the machining requirements.Finally,after analyzing the surface roughness,re-melted layer and cylindricity,and finally the small hole machining on the rear shaft of the new turbine was completed.In addition,there are basic conditions for the follow-up production and processing of advanced equipment to improve quality and efficiency.In this paper,the results of large suspension hole EDM for centrifugal lubricating oil on the rear shaft of aero-engine turbine are researched deeply,which not only solved the difficult technical problem of workshop for ensuring new parts assembly and delivery on time successfully,but also had a good engineering application and reference value for small hole EDM of blade,combustion chamber and other products.
