Electrodeposition is one of the electrochemical methods and is widely used in the treatment of heavy metal wastewater. This experiment is conducted on the electrodeposition experiment of medium and high concentration lead and copper wastewater. The main conclusions are as follows:Electrodeposition experiments were carried out on medium and high concentration lead ion simulated wastewater,in which the lead ion concentration was 300 mg/L.The optimal electrolysis conditions are: the magnetic stirring strength is 400r/s,the electrode material is graphite electrode, the cell voltage is 4V,the initial pH is 3,and the electrolysis time is 6 hours.Lead ions reached complete precipitation, and the remaining lead ion concentration was 0.4492 mg/L,and the removal rate was 99.85%.Electrodeposition experiments were carried out on medium and high concentration lead-copper simulated wastewater,in which the lead ion concentration was 300 mg/L,the copper ion concentration was 150 mg/L,and the magnetic stirring intensity was 400 r/s.The graphite electrode was used for electrolysis. The electrolysis conditions are: the cell voltage is 4V,the initial pH value is 3,the electrolyte potassium nitrate dosage is 0.05g/L,and the electrolysis time is controlled at 8 hours.Lead and copper ions reached complete precipitation. The residual lead ion concentration was 3.011 mg/L,the removal rate was 99.00%;the remaining copper ion concentration was 4.443 mg/L,and the removal rate was97.04%.Compared with the simulated wastewater containing only lead ions, the presence of copper ions decreases the lead ion removal rate, and the time for electrolysis to reach complete precipitation is prolonged.Under the optimal electrolysis conditions obtained by simulating wastewater electrolysis, the electrodeposition experiment of medium and high concentration lead-copper actual industrial wastewater was carried out.It was found that the electrolysis effect is lower than the previous experimental results due to the complex composition of the actual wastewater. Therefore, the cell voltage and the electrolysis time were adjusted. The cell voltage was 5 V and the electrolysis time was 11 hours. The removal effect was the same as that of the simulated wastewater. For the low-concentration lead-copper simulated wastewater after electrodeposition treatment, coagulation and sedimentation experiments were carried out, usingsodium sulfide as precipitant,PFS as coagulant and polyacrylamide as coagulant. The final precipitation effect was not satisfactory. This topic solves the practical problems. For solving the medium and high concentration lead-copper industrial wastewater, the electrodeposition method is used to provide technical guidance data such as optimal electrolysis conditions and treatment effects.
