In this paper,the roll gap control system designed by SIEMENS used in4100 mm plate mill of Baotou Steel is studied.In reference to the experience on the basis of existing theory at home and abroad,on the thickness of the Automatic Control principle,in view of the rolling mill elastic and plastic deformation of rolled pieces are analyzed in detail,mainly to eliminate plate thickness difference of corresponding way in basic level Control level is studied,and analyzed the relative and absolute AGC(Automatic the Gauge Control)model of the two different,and the advantages and disadvantages.Detailed analysis of the corresponding press down system,rack calibration,etc.At the same time,based on the specific problems in the actual production process of the field,this paper studies and analyzes,and puts forward some improvement methods,which are proved to be more effective in improving the product quality of the broad and thick plate.The research mainly carried out the following work:Based on the background and current situation of the development of wide and thick plate at home and abroad,the basic theories such as the elastic deformation and spring equation of rolling mill,the plastic deformation and plastic equation of steel plate are studied in detail.By learning the AGC control mode adopted by Siemens in the rolling process of plate mill,the study process of AGC control principle and theoretical model formula is introduced.The design of the most advanced TDC control system for Programmable Logic Controller(PLC)is studied in detail.Key to control the actual production process found some unstable situation analysis,through the research on the core of the roll gap control AGC control system analysis,for the product thickness of head,rocker,and poor overall thickness than the actual situation in the research,the feasibility and calculation analysis,the basic control level in the head,rolling force compensation,compensation measures,such as zero position compensation solves the baotou lenient plate rolling over 40 mm thick steel plate head slants thin,studied the rolling force compensation and leveling compensation effect of roll gap,rolling method of zero through changes in the picture,effectively improve the steel plate thickness error problem.
