6xxx series aluminum alloy is a typical age-hardening alloy with high strength, excellent processing performance and good corrosion resistance. It has become the material of choice for energy saving and emission reduction in the automotive industry. However, since aluminum alloy sheets for automobiles prepared by a conventional rolling process in the industry which has strong rolling deformation texture, and it is limited the formation of the aluminum alloy sheets. In order to improve the formation of aluminum alloy sheet, this article uses X-ray diffractometer and split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB)high-speed impact test, the evolution of macroscopic texture and dynamic mechanical properties of 6016 aluminum alloy sheet prepared by shear extrusion-rolling were studied, and compared with normal rolling. The research indicates:(1)The 6016 aluminum alloy sheet prepared by the normal rolling process was found to have a typicalβ-oriented line texture. The 6016 aluminum alloy sheet prepared by the shear extrusion-rolling process introduces a large amount of shear texture, and the ability to weaken the texture is stronger than the normal rolling process.(2)After solution treatment at 550℃,6016 aluminum alloy sheets under different processes have been recrystallized, resulting in a recrystallized texture dominated by Cube{001}<100>texture.While the shear extrusion-rolling process retains a certain amount of shear texture, the texture of the path-B is more dispersed than the path-A,which is beneficial to improve the sheet forming properties. And the T4P state of the shear extrusion-rolled 6016 aluminum alloy sheet showed a good baking hardening effect after 30 minutes of simulated baking at 175℃.(3)The shear extrusion-rolling process has higher strength than the conventional rolling process after baking, and its energy absorption effect is stronger than the conventional rolling process.Due to the existence of r-Copper{112}<011>in the path-B,the energy absorption effect of the path-B is higher than that of the path-A.(4)At different strain rates,as the deformation temperature increases, the temperature sensitivity index shows a downward trend. The temperature sensitivity index is highest in the deformation temperature range of 298K to 423K.(5)The mechanical behavior of shear extrusion-rolled 6016 aluminum alloy under dynamic impact has obvious anisotropy, and the positive strain rate sensitivity of the sample in 0°direction is the strongest. The difference in strength exhibited by the alloy in different directions is:0°>90°>45°.
