In daily life and industrial production,oil stains and soot exhaust gas will inevitably be generated.If discharged directly without treatment,it will cause harm to the human body and affect people's quality of life.Studies have shown that kapok fiber exhibits good oil absorption due to its natural large hollow structure,and has received widespread attention in the field of oil absorption.Therefore,this subject takes kapok nonwoven fabric as the main research object,and uses vegetable oil and motor oil to explore the structure and performance of kapok nonwoven fabric,oil and fume adsorption properties,respectively.Theoretical guidance.The main research contents and conclusions of this article are as follows:?1?Structure and performance of kapok nonwovenKapok nonwoven fabric and cotton nonwoven fabric,viscose nonwoven fabric,and viscose cotton nonwoven fabric were used to observe the surface morphology of the nonwoven fabric,and the pore size distribution,compression performance,and thermal stability of the nonwoven fabric were tested.In the kapok nonwoven fabric,the surface of the kapok fiber is smooth and has a round hollow structure;the kapok nonwoven fabric has a larger and larger pore diameter,the average pore diameter is 38.93mm;its compression work is 0.47 gf·cm·cm-2,compression The elastic recovery rate is 50.67%,and the linearity of the compression curve is 0.17;the kapok fiber starts to decompose at 319.60?,and the mass loss is only 5.92%.In contrast,kapok nonwovens have more pores to absorb oil or oil fume,are easily compressed,and have better recovery after compression,the highest initial degradation temperature,and better thermal stability.?2?Microscopic adsorption properties of kapok nonwovensKapok respectively.In contrast,the spread rate of vegetable oil and motor oil of kapok nonwoven is the largest.The maximum wicking height of kapok non-woven fabric for vertical and horizontal adsorption of vegetable oil and motor oil is about 35mm and 25mm,respectively.The wicking rate of the vertical and horizontal oil is similar.In comparison,the kapok nonwovens reached the maximum wicking height at the earliest,and the maximum wicking height was the smallest.The surface energy of kapok nonwoven is 43.71 mN·m-1,which is smaller than the surface energy of cotton and viscose cotton nonwovens.The dispersion component is 36.02 mN·m-1 and the polar component is 7.70 mN·m-1.?3?Effect of temperature on oil absorption properties of kapok nonwovensKapok non-woven fabric and cotton,viscose,viscose cotton non-woven fabric were used.The test oils were vegetable oil and motor oil.When the temperature was 20?,40?,60?and 80?,the vegetable oils in the vertical and horizontal directions were engine oil decreases with the increase of temperature.Comparatively speaking,the kapok nonwoven vegetable oil and motor oil have a small capillary absorption coefficient C,and the absorption rate of vegetable oil and motor oil is slow;the saturated oil absorption time ts of vegetable oil and motor oil is the largest,and the time to reach saturated oil absorption is the longest when the oil is absorbed.?4?Oil fume adsorption performance of kapok nonwoven fabricUsing kapok nonwoven fabric and cotton,viscose,viscose cotton non-woven fabric,test oils are vegetable oil and motor oil,and by setting up a fume device and fume collection device,simulate the scene of oil fume generation and collection,measure kapok nonwoven fabric and its To compare the amount of vegetable oil and motor oil fume adsorption at different times,explore the change of cumulative soot adsorption rate Sc,soot adsorption rate Sv,and soot adsorption efficiency Se of kapok nonwovens.After the kapok nonwoven fabric
